Families visiting this half term can join in with acrobatics, circus skills, pier games and magic

Experience the seaside closer to home this May half term as Knowsley Safari’s popular Seaside Carnival returns for another year.

From Saturday 24 May until Sunday 1 June, the whole family can enjoy an action-packed value day out, with part of the Foot Safari being transformed into ‘Knowsley Safari on Sea’ - a fun, seaside themed area with pier-style games such as Coconut Shy and Hoopla.

These activities and entertainment, including entry to the Safari’s ‘Big Top’ where children can try their hand at traditional circus skills like plate spinning and juggling, are all included in the general admission price. Expect daredevil professionals performing thrilling acrobatics and a roaming magician who will be on hand to wow guests with magic tricks and illusions.

Of course, along with circus-themed activities and seaside games, visitors can marvel at Knowsley Safari’s resident animals such as Amur tigers Makari and Yuki, as well as spotting the pride of African lions on the Safari Drive.

With over 500 animals to see, including one of the UK’s largest rhino crashes, as well as Bactrian camels, Iberian Wolves, meerkats, ostrich and baboons, a visit to Knowsley Safari will provide an action-packed day of adventure this half term.

Those looking to refuel after all the fun can visit the Oasis Restaurant, The Outpost Kitchen, and other refreshment stops serving freshly-made food and drink.
