GORDO was on his second breakfast recently in Albert Chop House. He was enjoying it mightily. Bacon, eggs, toast, mushrooms, black pudding - all spot on.
But then he bit on something he didn't care for. The sausage.
Gordo is partial to a fine sausage.
He thinks a good sausage can put a smile on a face and a spring in the step. A bad sausage only leaves bitterness and regret. It's important to have good sausage technique.
So he's thought up a pleasant little competition for Confidential readers. The Albert's Chop House people love the idea as well.
Recommend your best banger and the supplier of said banger on the form below and four readers will be part of a taste test on 27 September during Manchester Food and Drink Festival. With a select panel of professional foodies they will get to judge the best banger, the peak and apex of sausage delight. Winners will aside from sampling sausages, be watered (or even allowed booze).
The winning sausage will be adopted by Albert's Chop House and thus, Gordo, and the rest of us, need not be concerned about breakfast ever again.
