SAN Carlo bottega, cocktail and champagne bar, is set to open its doors at the end of October (opens officially Thursday 31 October).

The 100 seated dining venue and bar will be located on the second floor of Selfridges, Exchange Square, city centre.

Bottega will serve a light breakfast menu in the morning and an all day seasonal menu including seafood, meat, pasta, pizza and salad specialities with influences from across Italy and Southern France.

With a nod to the popular and critical success of the family owned group’s Cicchetti restaurants in Manchester and London, San Carlo bottega will serve crafted small plate dishes, this time, influenced by Italy and Southern France.

A feature bar will offer a range of wines, champagnes, prosecco and a cocktail. All dishes will be made on the premises using only the finest seasonal ingredients.

Bottega will serve a light breakfast menu in the morning and an all-day seasonal menu including seafood, meat, pasta, pizza and salad specialities with influences from across Italy and Southern France.

San Carlo bottega will be the third Manchester restaurant and bar from the San Carlo Group which owns and operates eleven leading UK restaurants including the popular San Carlo and San Carlo Cicchetti on Manchester’s King Street West.

A fourth venue, Farmacia Del Dolci, a patisserie, ice cream parlour and café is set to open on the lower ground floor of Selfridges, Exchange Square in November. The menu here will include brunches, freshly baked cakes, pastries and a range of in-house luxury gelato. People will be able to eat in or take-away.

San Carlo bottega, Selfridges, will open 10am-8pm Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm on Saturdays and from 11am-5.30pm on Sundays.
