Expect a lively Wedding Open Day showcasing some of the North West’s most exciting creatives
Salford Lads & Girls Club will open its doors for a stylish and lively wedding open day this weekend.
On Sunday 22 March, between 12-3pm, one of Salford’s most iconic buildings will transform into a vibrant wedding inspiration hub. Couples planning their big day are invited to explore the historic venue while meeting a selection of local suppliers, including talented musicians, florists, artists, stylists and wedding professionals.
Entry is completely free and couples who book a ticket in advance will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival. Throughout the day, there will be live music performances from local bands and artists, giving couples the chance to experience the venue in all its glory. Live models will showcase dresses from local boutiques and guests will have the opportunity to take part in a calligraphy workshop at 2:30pm, providing them with the opportunity to give writing their own signage a go.
Helping to host the event is Chloe, a respected wedding planner that Manchester couples trust, who has recently been appointed the official wedding provider for Salford Lads & Girls Club. Chloe will be available throughout the event to chat with couples about how weddings at the venue work and how the space can be transformed for truly memorable celebrations. “Salford Lads & Girls Club is such a special building with incredible character,” says Chloe, adding “This open day is all about showing couples what’s possible here while celebrating the amazing creative talent we have across Manchester and the North West.”
