MANCHESTER’S luxury Italian Rosso has been named 'Restaurant of the Year' in both the North and Overall categories in the 2014 Food Awards for England and Wales.

Voted for by the public, the Food Awards are designed to recognise and commend the efforts of restaurants, gastro pubs, cafes and bistros across England and Wales. Thousands of nominations were received for this year’s inaugural awards.
Rosso
Rosso was nominated in the 'Fine Dining' category and in the category for 'Restaurant of the Year', which it won twice for the Northern category and Overall. By doing so, Rosso successfully beat a selection of esteemed restaurants such as The Academy in Liverpool and Upstairs at the Grill in Chester.
The decadent evening was hosted by Miss United Kingdom Supernational, Rachelle Perez, and took place at the Piccadilly Mercure Hotel last week.
