THE 2 AA Rosette restaurant, Room on King Street has promoted their senior sous chef, Nick Dawson (on the right in the above picture) following the departure of their award winning head chef, Pete Taylor to London.
Pete Taylor said of Nick “We interviewed a number of good chefs, but Nick’s abilities, attitude and understanding of the Room concept made him the best man for the job.”
28-year-old Nick Dawson came to work with Pete Taylor five years ago via the 1 Michelin Starred Vineyard at Stocks Cross and the 3AA Rosette Anthony’s in Leeds.
“The whole Room team are delighted at the natural progression in the kitchen with Nick’s appointment as Head Chef. We are looking forward to his take on the Room twist and we hope to continue achieving accolades,” says General manager Jamie Jones.
