Feel on top of the world at special Argentine wine-tasting event
LOVE wine? Then head to restaurant MCR, which is hosting its first wine-tasting event since opening in December. Exclusive to Tuesday 26 March, the special evening, starting at 7pm, will see wines from the acclaimed Argentine vineyard Bodega El Porvenir matched with a bespoke six-course menu tailored for the event by head chef Aiden Byrne.
restaurant MCR boasts one of the finest wine menus in the city and knowledgeable sommeliers to guide you. For this wine-tasting, the venue’s experts will be joined by the producers from Argentina and you’ll be able to enjoy wine made from four different grape varieties grown in one of the highest vineyards in the world, at altitudes of up to 1,900 metres.

As well as Malbec, you’ll have the chance to enjoy two more reds, Tannat and a Cabernet/Malbec blend, plus a Torrontes white wine. You’ll also be treated to a glass of Ferghettina Extra Brut fizz when you arrive for the evening.
