THE UK’s biggest consumer travel exhibition brand, The Times presents Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show, saw more than 61,000 visitors attend its two shows in London and Manchester, 15 per cent up on 2013, despite visitors having to battle January’s wild weather.
The Manchester show saw a huge 17 per cent increase in visitors year on year, with 23,586 visitors arriving at EventCity between 23-26 January in search of their perfect escape. A celebrity line-up of travel experts including Julia Bradbury and Michaela Strachan drew visitors, alongside leading brands, expert speakers and food from around the world.
Exhibitors reported excellent sales, with over 75 per cent already rebooked for both Manchester and London 2015. Dates for Manchester in 2015 are 29 January–1 February 2015.
