Manchester Airport has an array of official car parks, but what’s the difference between them, and which car parks are the best for each of the three terminals?

There are three types of airport parking services at Manchester Airport.

On Airport Parking

On-airport parking is the closest parking to the terminal building and the car parks are just a short walk away – most of the time there is no need to catch a shuttle bus.

Meet and Greet Parking

With Meet and Greet Parking you drive to your terminal where you will be met by a fully insured chauffeur who will take your car to a secure car parking facility at the airport or very close by. The chauffeur will meet you at the terminal and hand over your car when you return.

Park and Ride

Park and Ride is usually the cheapest parking option at Manchester Airport. Simply drive to your chosen car park and catch the regular shuttle bus to your terminal.

Manchester Airport has a great selection of the three parking options, whether you're flying from Terminal 1, 2 or 3 and leading airport parking provider, SkyParkSecure, gives the low-down on official parking at Manchester Airport.

Official Short Stay Parking

The on-airport multi-storey car parks are ideal for short stays. Manchester Airport has three multi-storey car parks, one right next to each terminal, saving a considerable amount of time on arrival and departure. Although there is a multi-storey car park assigned to each terminal, they are also convenient for all terminals.

All three on-airport multi-storey car parks have been given the Park Mark Award. They offer secure parking and benefit from regular patrols and CCTV monitoring.

Official Long Stay Parking

For longer stay parking, Manchester Airport has two long stay car parks: Terminal 1 and 3 Long Stay Parking and Terminal 2 Long Stay Parking. Both have been given the Park Mark Award and offer secure parking at the airport.

Although they are both within walking distance of their associated terminals, a transfer bus runs every ten minutes and takes only five minutes.

Official Meet and Greet Parking

Manchester Airport offers an official Meet and Greet Parking service for each terminal. The Meet and Greet option is ideal for families with small children, passengers carrying quite a bit of luggage, or passengers who may be short on time. Vehicles are parked in secure facilities which have all been awarded Park Mark status.

Official Park and Ride

JetParks is the official Park and Ride option and there are four JetParks car parks at Manchester Airport: JetParks 1, 2, 3 and Jet Parks Plus.

JetParks 1 and 2 are the closest to Terminal 1 and 2 and take five to ten minutes by shuttle bus, while JetParks 3 and JetParks Plus are the closest to Terminal 3 and take ten to fifteen minutes.

All JetParks car parks offer secure parking and each one has been given the Park Mark Award.

The car parks are also patrolled 24 hours a day and protected by CCTV, barriers and fencing. They are also DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant and disabled customers are able to park in suitable places. The complimentary shuttle buses are also wheel-chair friendly.
