IN THE words of good old Marks and Sparks (or almost), this was not just a prosecco tasting, this was a Per Tutti prosecco tasting. That means it was one hell of an event with everything you'd want from a great night out.
Rob Bagot of Buon Vino shared his expertise. More importantly, he shared his wine
Rob Bagot of Buon Vino shared his expertise. More importantly, he shared his wine. From crisp prosecco an intense red wine to fruity rosato spumante and gently sparkling lambrusco it was a whirlwind trip round some of the tastiest wines Italy has to offer.
Here's what we enjoyed:
- Prosecco Credamora Senza Solfiti 2013
- Prosecco Gorio Malibran 2014
- Lambrusco L'Eclisse Paltrinieri
- Rosato Spumante Malibran NV
- Cariglio Terre Nobili 2014 NV
The wine went down a treat but the accompanying food was pretty memorable too. Chef Chris Lynn prepared delights like chilli chicken, asparagus and parma ham, fish goujons, bruschetta and meatballs.
As if all that wasn't enough, Per Tutti favourites, The Beard Band rounded the evening off with a feel-good set covering everyone's favourite tracks.
