POLICE hunting Robert Hart's killer released five new images of potential witnesses at the beginning of September 2014, with the hope of finally tracking down his killer.

Greater Manchester Police have now found three of the five witnesses they were hunting, now they wish to identify the other two (pictured below).

"The time at which they were photographed, the area they were stood, the direction they were facing and their proximity to the area where Robert was standing all suggest that they may well be crucial eyewitnesses."

Robert Hart was knocked unconscious in a brutal attack at Parklife Festival in Heaton Park on Saturday 7 June 2014 just before US rapper Snoop Dogg took to the stage.

He died five days later with a bleed to the brain.

On 22 July 2014 Greater Manchester Police issued an appeal via BBC's Crimewatch.

As a result of the programme officers managed to track down the majority of witnesses they believed could hold information about Hart's killer and the people he was with.

WitnessWitnessDCI Phil Reade said earlier this month: “Our trained officers have examined a huge amount of pictures and video footage sent in by festival goers and have determined that these people may well be of assistance to our investigation.

“The time at which they were photographed, the area they were stood, the direction they were facing and their proximity to the area where Robert was standing all suggest that they may well be crucial eyewitnesses and could even have captured a picture of the man responsible or the people he was with.

"One of these people could hold the key to unlocking this investigation without even knowing it."
