Lewis Capaldi and Skepta amongst headliners at the summer music fest
It’s come a long way since the Mad Ferret days… Now the UK’s biggest metropolitan festival, Parklife celebrates its tenth anniversary with another cross-Atlantic blitz of big names this summer.
Back in the UK for his first headline slot outside of London, US rapper Tyler, The Creator will be topping the bill alongside Scottish crooner Lewis Capaldi, fellow British chart-topper Skepta and American singer Khalid.
They’ll be joining a host of familiar faces including award-winning singer-songwriter Jorja Smith, hip hop star Giggs and Anderson Paak, whose infectious energy and summertime grooves promise to be a crowd-pleaser.
The Parklife team, who additionally head up The Warehouse Project club nights, have also locked electronic icons such as Eric Prydz, Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim plus modern game-changers Bicep (Live), Four Tet, Nina Kraviz and Honey Dijon.
Meanwhile the likes of Robyn, JME’s GRIME MC FM, AJ Tracey, Charli XCX, KSI, Peggy Gou, D-Block Europe, Hot Chip, Aitch, Mabel and more will all be grabbing their passports for shows across eight stages.
Now the ultimate showdown for pop, hip-hop, electronica and more, Parklife is set to welcome over 160,000 fans this summer.
The festival hits Heaton Park from 13-14th June, with limited presale tickets available today. General sales start at 9am tomorrow (Thursday 30th). See the website for full details.
