Projuvenate, South Manchester’s premium, medically-led wellness and aesthetics clinic, has recently launched a new ‘Summer Skin Optimisation Programme’ with their Precision Renewal Treatment taking centre stage.

The Precision Renewal treatment is a 60-minute treatment that combines a professional ZO® Skin Health peel, precision microneedling and TargetCool® serum infusion technology to help create a more radiant-looking complexion. Basically it gives the effect of that golden hour glow we all crave but with smoother texture, improved tone and enhanced hydration - what's not to love?

I was kindly invited down to their clinic to give it a try for myself, take a break from home renovations and see if it could revitalise my dull complexion (from numerous sleepless nights and foolishly skipping skincare steps as I haven’t gotten round to unpacking them yet).

Clinic manager Kim Artingstall was on hand to welcome me with a cold drink upon arriving in Projuvenate’s bright and airy waiting area before independent nurse prescriber and Projuvenate’s skincare expert Claire Robinson took me through to one of the treatment rooms to find out more about my skin concerns, take a facial scan and discuss what the next 60 minutes would entail.

The treatment starts with a gentle chemical peel designed to exfoliate and prep the skin ready for surface level microneedling, which creates controlled micro-channels that are designed to support the skin's natural renewal processes and stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Finally, the TargetCool® precision cooling technology is used to infuse the ZO Accelerator Serum into the skin while helping soothe the area and minimise post-treatment redness - my favourite part of the whole treatment, especially during a 30-degree heatwave.

To further enhance my treatment and speed up the skin restoration process, I concluded my visit to Projuvenate with 10 minutes in the HaloRed® Therapy chamber - a treatment that combines both red light therapy and halotherapy (dry salt therapy) to support skin health and recovery, as well as respiratory function. This particular treatment is great for enhancing collagen production, further helping to create that desired youthful ‘glow’.

The Precision Renewal treatment is priced at £275 for one treatment while a package of three treatments is £750, and a package of six is £1350. HaloRed® Red Light & Salt Therapy sessions can be added on as an optional extra.
