We have a passionate and talented head chef, Chris Hall, whose sociable, informal cooking really adds a buzz to the restaurant. Come for drinks and small plates that look the business and taste even better.
Menus change regularly so there’s always something new to try and dishes are based on local, seasonal ingredients. It’s the independent heroes of the North West who provide us with amazing artisan produce that gives our food the edge.
If you’re staying with us, breakfast is a must. There’s the abundance of the Lockkeeper’s Table with yoghurts, cereals, flavoured brioche, danish pastries and more, complemented by one of the best a la carte cooked breakfast offerings you’ll find.
Drinks are an important part of our offering, whether that’s a craft beer from a few miles down the road, a cocktail made using locally-distilled spirits or a Worker Bee coffee. We also serve a range of alcohol-free drinks with the same feel and flavour profile as their alcoholic counterparts.
What’s more, we run a sustainable kitchen, with aims towards zero waste in the future. Doing your bit never tasted so good.
