Ho Ho Hold your Christmas party at The Pen and Pencil

Summer’s gone. That means it’s Christmas – right? Well, not quite but it is time to start getting your festive get-togethers organised. If you want to go anywhere good that is. How about somewhere like The Pen and Pencil? In fact, how about The Pen and Pencil?

You know it’s going to be good so you might as well just book now but here’s a little more info on our Christmas menu to give you that festive glow.

First up we have our brand new Rebel Without A Clause cocktail, one of Santa’s top tipples we’re assured. It’s a naughty but nice mix of Aperol, Triple Sec, stem ginger purée, rosemary, cranberry juice and lime.

Then there are the three kings of festive food: The Pen and Pencil’s traditional-ish offering, our veggie special and our vegan showstopper.

Choose from a stuffed turkey breast on a cranberry terrine with cheesy brie sauce, stellar roasties, sprouts and pigs in blankets or go veggie with a butternut squash and mushroom wellington in a blue cheese sauce with fresh cranberries and toasted walnuts. The vegan star is our homemade nut roast with sweet potato puree.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a P&P Christmas burger. We’ve gone all out with grilled turkey breast, brie, a homemade sprout patty, smashed cranberries and pigs in blankets, all popped in a bun and served with fries.
