Salford Rum is giving away a bespoke hamper worth over £130, comprising its original Salford Spiced Rum, Salford Rum Dark Spice, two enamel mugs, a Salford Rum hand-engraved tumbler and two mixers.
Salford Rum's two premium spiced spirits have been created as a passionate celebration of the history, heritage and people of Salford Docks throughout the late 1800's and early 1900's.
The original Salford Spiced Rum (40% abv), much loved by local rum aficionados, was created as a tribute to the dock-workers who were the beating heart of the city's great dock. This delicious golden spiced rum is produced in small batches, column distilled in the shadows of old Salford Docks, and expertly infused with vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and dried Caribbean fruits.
Salford Rum Dark Spice (40% abv) blends specially-selected rums from Barbados, matured for up to eight years in ex-Bourbon, American white oak casks. Salford Rum's expert distillers have combined these pot and column distilled rums with a distinct spice blend to deliver an exceptional dark rum that delights with flavours of vanilla, coconut, burnt caramel and cloves.
Winners will be notified in January 2021 — all prizes will be sent out then.
