Albert’s summer menu: A culinary voyage round the British Isles

With a brand new menu spanning Seddon Farm leek and potato soup to fried lamb sweetbreads, Albert Square Chop House is taking diners on a gastronomic tour around Blighty this summer. Flavoursome newcomers abound - Bleiker’s hot smoked salmon and potato salad, Devon pie, summer berry tart - but you’ll still find hearty classics like the famous corned beef hash for when the weather, well, isn’t so summery.

Want to get your teeth into something really meaty? Check out the special grill section, where you’ll find premium chops like Dingley Dell alongside a range of Ridings Reserve steaks. These are carefully sourced from farms across the English countryside and garnished with hand-cut chips, roast tomato and mushroom; with a choice of sauces or Chop House butter.

Whatever the season, Sunday wouldn’t be Sunday without Albert’s legendary roast. From Ridings Reserve roast rump to Shropshire chicken and award-winning cheese and onion pie - all served with the proper trimmings - meat-eaters and veggies alike will find plenty to suit. For those who fancy a change, other options include traditional fish and chips, corned beef hash and a host of starters and sweets.
