NORTHERN Quarter's raucous tiki den is heading for leafy Didsbury.

"We want to expand the Hula brand in Manchester and beyond"

Manchester-based Mark Andrew Developments (MAD) Ltd - operators behind Northern Quarter's Rosylee, Walrus, Tusk, Fitzgerald - are to rebrand their Mtiki bar in West Didsbury as a Hula.

Tic for tac, tiki for tiki.

The popular late-night bar on Burton Road will receive a 'mini-refurb' before the re-launch as Hula West Didsbury on Thursday 2 April, with a launch party featuring XFM DJ Gareth Brooks.

Mark Andrew, managing director at MAD Ltd said: “We’re really excited to re-brand Mtiki as Hula West Didsbury. It was our first bar in the portfolio, so is very important to us and has established itself as a key feature in the West Didsbury bar line-up, still as popular today as ever.

"We want to expand the Hula brand in Manchester and beyond, and the Mtiki site was the perfect choice for the second launch. We’re already looking at further sites to bring the Hula experience to more people across the UK.”

Hula West Didsbury will be offering FREE cocktails between 6-8pm at the launch night event on Thursday 1 April; for more information visit their facebook page here.
