POPULAR coffee house, Caffeine & Co, has opened a new permanent residency in the reception of the HQ Building at the Old Granada Studios on Atherton Street - their largest venue to date.
"Making great coffee is a path of chasing perfection and we bring the same attitude to what we put on our plates."
Following their temporary pop-up in Quay House, Spinningfields (due to come down this month), the family run business has launched the new coffee house to complement its other city centre location on John Dalton Street and its suburban premises at Longford Park, Stretford.
With more space in the former ITV studio complex, Caffeine & Co are to also expand their food offering.
The menu will feature a range of homemade dishes from breakfast through lunch with daily specials, artisan chocolates and homemade bread brought in daily from their own bakery in Longford Park.
Caffeine & Co
Open daily from 8am to 5pm, Caffeine & Co at Old Granada Studios will function as a dining room, reading room and a meeting place as well as a coffee shop to cater for the nearby business district and coffee lovers. We imagine it won't do too badly from the footfall of the nearby Coronation Street tour either.
The coffee experts, who source beans by award winners Square Mile Coffee, are also putting on specialist events for coffee enthusiasts, including a chance to ‘Meet the Roaster’.
Phil Howells, Owner of Caffeine & Co, said: “We are about pairing the best coffee with serious food. Making great coffee is a path of chasing perfection and we bring the same attitude to what we put on our plates."
He added: "Moving to a bigger space was a natural transition for us and housing Caffeine & Co in the iconic Old Granada Studios means that it’s not simply a replacement for the Spinningfields pop-up, it is an improvement in so many ways, setting the bar for what’s to come.”
