With delicate little sandwiches on artisan breads, delicious fruit scones and a beautiful selection of cakes, truffles, macaroons and other sweet treats, all presented on your own individual three-tiered stand, it really is living the high life.
And at Tea 42, everyone can live the high life. Each tasty morsel is also available as a gluten free version and vegetarian options are also on offer.
There is a range of teas from traditional brews like A Class Act, a rich Indian tea, to intriguing tastes like Bramble Kiss, a China black tea flavoured with blackcurrant oil and blackberry leaves.
Don't forget the fizz. The accompanying glass of Louis Dornier champagne is the perfect way to turn afternoon tea into a really special occasion.

Mother's Day Afternoon Teas cost £27.95 per person and are available on Saturday 14 March and Sunday 15 March between 10am and 6pm with the last booking at 5pm.
If you'd prefer to make an evening of it, there are are three sittings on Saturday 14 March ( at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm ) and two sittings on Sunday 15 March ( at 6pm and 8pm ) where you can treat your mum to a luxury five-course taster menu.
The meals starts off on the right note with a welcome strawberry Bellini and includes an enticing array of gourmet dishes such as slow-cooked brisket of beef with oyster, courgette and burnt onion and dark chocolate ganache with beetroot macaroon and raspberry granita. And as always, everything is available as a gluten free option.
