FORGET Metallica playing Glastonbury, the biggest festival news this week is all about Festwich – the free tribute band festival in Prestwich on 26 and 27 July.
Other acts are about to be added including a Bon Jovi tribute, a Limp Bizkit tribute, and a Nirvana tribute.
They've released details of their line-up and it's a stormer. Saturday's main stage headliner will be Knotslip, while Enraged will top the bill on the second stage. Sunday's main stage headliner is Guns or Roses. The full line-up is below – and we've been told other acts are about to be added including a Bon Jovi tribute, a Limp Bizkit tribute, and a Nirvana tribute.
And on both days, there'll be an acoustic Live Lounge – a relaxed area where you can hear your favourite rock classics played in a laid-back style. Expect to hear Queen, Bon Jovi, Def Leopard, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Metallica and more.
This is as well as all the usual Festwich fun: bars, food stands, a market, a children's area, and thrill rides. It's all family friendly. And as always, it's free.
