MANCHESTER Pride has just announced a host of big names to perform at the festival over the August Bank Holiday.

“We’ve been working hard to secure a great line-up for 2014’s Big Weekend and I’m confident that this first announcement won’t disappoint."

Anastacia, All Saints and Foxes will all perform. The line-up also features MNEK, Heather Peace, Kimberly Wyatt, Krystal Klear, Misha B, Syron, Jamie Bull, Junior J, Sarah Louise (Hed Kandi), Jesca Hoop, Drop the Mustard, Holloway, AMiTY, Seamus Haji, The SRJ Band, Redd, Meat Free and more yet to be announced.

The little lady with the big voice, Anastacia (presented in conjunction with G-A-Y) is back with her new top five album Resurrection. With new hit ‘Stupid Little Things’ to add to ‘Not That Kind’, “I’m Outta Love’, ‘Left Outside Alone’ and ‘Paid My Dues’ she will be right at home performing on the Big Weekend bill.

After touring the UK this year with Backstreet Boys, All Saints will be returning, once again, to Manchester for the Big Weekend as part of the show presented in partnership with G-A-Y. Expect to hear all their hits including ‘Never Ever’, ‘Under The Bridge’, ’Pure Shores’ and ‘Black Coffee’ at their only UK Pride performance.

British born singer-songwriter Louisa Rose Allen, aka Foxes, has been name checked by Katy Perry and caught the ear of Lady Gaga-collaborator Zedd, leading to her performance on the Billboard Top Ten hit ‘Clarity’. Hear her performing songs such as “Youth’, ’Let Go for Tonight’ and ‘Holding onto Heaven’ from her debut album Glorious at the 2014 Big Weekend.

After working with big names such as Rudimental, CocknBullKid and Sub Focus, MNEK will be taking to the stage in his own right. Manchester Pride favourite and patron Heather Peace will make a popular return fresh from the success of her second album, The Thin Line. Pussycat Doll turned judge for Sky One’s ‘Got to Dance’ Kimberley Wyatt will wow with a live performance.

Joining them across the Big Weekend is Manchester’s own MOBO nominated Misha B and indie band Holloway, fronted by 2012’s X Factor competitor Charlie Rundle.

It doesn’t stop there. Also performing are MTV favourite Syron, lo-fi popster AMiTY, songwriter and guitarist Jesca Hoop, and Shane Richie Junior, fresh from the UK National Tour of hit musical Boogie Nights.

Manchester Pride also welcomes back Redd. Her debut single which featured Snoop Dogg & Akon has now had over 20 million hits across Youtube. She followed this with her next single ‘Bedroom’ which, featuring Pitbull & Qwote, helped catapult her worldwide.

In its second year, the triumphant Dance Arena will return with some of the UK's biggest names.  There will be remix superstar Seamus Haji, Hed Kandi DJ Sarah Louise, adopted Mancunian Junior J (who at 20 has already got Creamfields under his belt) and HomoElectric resident DJ Jamie Bull.

To top off a stellar line up, Krystal Klear are set to make everyone boogie with their disco/house set and DJs from Drop The Mustard and Meat Free.

Mark Fletcher, Chief Executive for Manchester Pride, comments; “We’ve been working hard to secure a great line-up for 2014’s Big Weekend and I’m confident that this first announcement won’t disappoint. We’re aiming to offer something for everyone with a range of performances across many genres from pop and dance, to home-grown and international singer songwriters, and some of the world’s most sought after DJs. It’s great to be presenting some of our performances in conjunction with G-A-Y, and there is much more yet to come.”

The Big Weekend runs from Friday 22 - Monday 25 August and tickets are currently priced at £22 for a weekend ticket. Day tickets are also on sale and start at £12.50. Child's Day and Weekend tickets are now on sale too.

A Big Weekend ticket gives you access to the event site, including the Main Arena, Sackville Gardens, the Dance Arena and Expo, and raises money for LGBT and HIV charities and organisations in Greater Manchester.
