MANCHESTER-based Chinese restaurants, Yang Sing and Sweet Mandarin, have been awarded a Pagoda accreditation – two of 32 Chinese restaurants in the UK to receive the accolade.

"The UK has some of the best Chinese culinary talent outside of China and The Legacy of Taste Pagodas herald the best of the best establishments."

Judged by The Legacy of Taste, an authority of Michelin starred Chinese chefs and food and drink experts, the Pagoda is a new three-tiered award given to Chinese restaurants that demonstrate high standards of service and authentic cooking.
