NORTHERN Quarter sister venues, Luck, Lust, Liquor, Burn and Keko Moku threw a bash this week.

Why? Because they recently locked a graffiti artist in the venue overnight. He drank the bar drier than the cracked heels of a Horned Desert Lizard and started firing off spray paint like Tony Montano blasting away in the final scene of Scarface.

Rather than sacrifice the artist for ruining the place, they designed a whole new drinks menu and married it with the new boozed-up ramblings spattered around the gaff.

Also... because it was a Wednesday. Or if you're Norse, the day of Wodanaz.

WARNING (to bartenders): If the burger-bar upstairs (the original Almost Famous) was laid low by a blaze, don't take a blowtorch to the ceiling for effect. Fate is a sod and she'll slap you around the chops once more.

The night of the day of Wodanaz looked like this (credit to @Madz_Penfold for some images, the better ones):
