Founded by James and John Chivas, who pioneered the art of blending in 19th-century Scotland, Chivas have been blending the best malt and grain whiskies to create something extraordinary since 1801. Little wonder, then, that The Blend by Chivas has proved so popular in the three years since it launched as a pop-up in London’s Truman Brewery in 2016, offering a unique insight into the art of the Master Blender. The Blend is still going strong in London, and this autumn it’s returning to the North West.
The Blend will take up residence in some of the best bars in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool; offering signature hour-long whisky-blending sessions for £15.
After a complimentary Chivas Highball (always a good start), guests will be able to delve into the world of blended whisky – followed by a fun, hands-on art of blending experience to create their own 200ml blend to take home.
