EYES down, dabbers ready... now RAVE.

Expect mid-rave intervals with glow sticks, drunken frivolity and catwalks

Jonny Bongo's rambunctious, bastardised and insanely popular take on your Nan's favourite time-passer is on it's way up the M62 and launches in Manchester on Tuesday 3 November at the Albert Hall.

With questions such as 'Is Cluedo Shit?', scattered with bouts of traditional bingo, rave rounds and dance-offs, Bongo's Bingo has amassed a hefty cult following in its native Liverpool, turning away hundreds of folk every week from it's base at Camp and Furnace.

Now Bongo - who reportedly holds the record for the largest pub quiz ever - is ready for the big leagues with a 800 bingo gig in Manchester...

Organiser Joshua Burke said: “We still cannot believe the popularity of the Liverpool version and are now having to do two per week. This is no doubt thanks to our amazing host Jonny Bongo who works the room into a frenzy shouting “I’m in Love with the Coco” amongst many other bizarre rituals and hilarity.

“When we approached the guys at Albert Hall we were shocked to find out they had already been over to Liverpool for the event and loved it. Working with them has been amazing and we look forward to doing so for a long time in the most beautiful space in Manchester.”

Andy Marshall, General Manager for Albert Hall said: “It’s bingo, but not as you know it. Jonny Bongo is well known for hosting some of the most outrageous pub quizzes known to man and holds the record for the biggest pub quiz ever held. Expect mid-rave intervals with glow sticks, drunken frivolity and catwalks on the large benches. Maybe leave your Nan at home for this one...”

Entry is £3. Doors open at 7pm every Tuesday from 3 Nov (except on gig nights - check the website) with the first game starting at 8pm. There'll be big cash prizes and '$hit' prizes, apparently. More info on their Facebook page.
