IT’S time to dust of great-granny’s hoarded knick-knacks...
BBC antiques programme Flog It! is coming to Manchester and holding valuation day events at The Museum of Science & Industry on Friday 8 March between 9.30am and 4pm.
Members of the public are invited to go along with their antiques and collectables and have them valued free of charge by the Flog It! team of experts. If selected for filming, you could even make some money by selling your items at Frank Marshall Auctioneers in Knutsford a few weeks later.
Previous programmes have seen a ceramic bowl, bought for £4 at a car boot sale, achieving £1,500 and a lady in Aberdeen who sold a Shelley tea set for £3,400. But none are better than the gentleman who brought a ceremonial cup which later sold for an impressive £44,000.
