ELIXIR has been making a bit of a name for itself after opening around this time last year. It scooped up both 'Best Overall Bar' and 'Best Personality' at this year's Cocktails in the City awards and by 'eck do they know their stuff when it comes to making stylish, jaw-droppingly cool, delicious drinks.
Sharing their tricks of the trade with us mere mortals, Elixir opened its doors down in the basement room on Thursday 23 October for a cocktail wizardry masterclass, showing us how to make (and drink) some of their winning creations. The vibe was intimate and relaxed with three drinks stations: gin; rum; contemporary – all hosted by their own mixologist.
