Friday 2 August: Two Teenage Boys Threatened At Gunpoint in Oldham
At 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 June, a 16-year-old and 17-year-old were riding a scooter and quad bike along Bisley Street when a silver Alfa Romeo pulled in front of them.
A man got out of the car and pointed what is thought to be a silver handgun at the two boys, demanding keys for the quad bike. It is not known whether the gun was genuine or a replica.
The victim ran home but, on returning to the quad, was pursued once again by the car. The car then sped off towards Manchester Street.
The man is described as being white, of large build, wore a dark hooded top and a scarf covering the lower half of his face.
Detective Constable Andrew Swettenham said: "From what the witnesses have told us, we believe there were up to four or five men in the car and one of them got out to threaten the teenager.”
No one was hurt.

Thursday 1 August: Stockport Police in £500k Drugs Haul
Police have arrested six people with around half a million pounds worth of cannabis in Hazel Grove.
Officers from Operation Worn, Stockport's dedicated drugs and organised crime taskforce, made the discovery after a warrant was executed at a business premises on Macclesfield Road at around 12.35pm on Wednesday 31 July.
Inspector Steve Dix said: "This substantial drug haul means that a large amount of cannabis has been taken off the streets, which is good news for our communities. Greater Manchester Police is determined to disrupt the supply of drugs and the activities of organised crime groups in general."
Tuesday 30 July: Police Nab 296 In One Week Summer Crackdown
GMP have made 296 arrests as part of Operation Resolute, a summer crackdown running from Monday 22 July to Sunday 28 July.
Police conducted raids and used mobile electronic screens to publicise some of the county’s most wanted criminals for offences including theft, assault, drug-related crime and immigration offences.
Of the 296 arrests, 75 have been charged so far. Ten arrests were made as a direct result of displaying wanted offenders on screens across Manchester, Salford, Bolton and Rochdale.

Tuesday 30 July: Man Caught Snapping Upskirts In Arndale
AT around 1.45pm on 20 July 2013, a woman, 31, was shopping in the Homesense store in the Arndale Centre when she felt something brush up the inside of her leg.
She turned around to see a man attempting to take a photo up her skirt using a digital camera.
Man on CCTVThe woman shouted at the man and snatched his camera as the offender ran off towards TK Maxx.
The offender is described as black, stocky, 6ft 2 in tall with shaved hair. He was wearing a blue shirt, black trousers, brown shoes and sunglasses on top of his head. It is also believed that he may have been carrying a WH Smith carrier bag.
Detective Constable Dave Gager said: "It is not the sort of thing anyone would expect to happen while simply out shopping and understandably she is both angry and upset this man would try and commit such a brazen and callous act.
In similar cases, a Cumbrian man, 28, was jailed for nine months in 2010 for videoing under the skirt of a woman shopping at a Morrison’s in Whitehaven, while a London man, 63, was jailed for twelve months after standing at the bottom of Tube escalators using a compact mirror concealed inside a newspaper to target victims.

Monday 29 July: M61 Closed For Three Hours As Hand Grenade Found
POLICE and an Explosive Ordinance Team (EOD) were called to a business premises on Station Road in Blackrod at around 3.30pm following reports that a hand grenade had been found outside of the building.
As a precaution, the M61 had to be closed in both directions for three hours between junctions six and eight as a 100 metre cordon was put in place causing widespread traffic jams.
The EOD carried out a controlled explosion of the grenade at around 6.30pm. It is unknown from what period the hand grenade originates.
Sunday 28 July: MCR Stabbing: Two Men Die and Girl, 13, Fighting For Life
TWO men have died and a young girl is in a critical but stable condition after a fatal altercation took place in the Moston area of Manchester late on Sunday.
It is believe that the girl, named by locals as Ayesha Jackson, 13, may have been trying to protect her father, Robert Jackson, 41, after Darren Gasper, 34, launched a knife assault. It is said Ayesha was visiting her father during the school summer holidays.
Robert JacksonPolice arrived at the Delta Walk house address, Moston at 10.20pm on Sunday, having been alerted by concerned neighbours to an incident. Police arrived to find the dead body of Mr Jackson and the critically injured girl.
In a strange turn of events, police were then called to Watfield Walk in Harpurhey after a man, believed to be Darren Gasper, threatened a car owner with a knife and hijacked a car in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police then spotted the stolen car and approached, but Mr Gasper attempted to get away and drove the car into the side of the Alliance pub. He was taken to hospital but died a short time later from a stab wound and injuries from the crash.
Superintendent Vanessa Jardine said: “We are continuing our inquiries and as you would imagine, there are lots of threads to unravel and multiple scenes we are currently examining.”
Police say that they are not currently looking for anyone else involved in the case and are currently waiting to question Ayesha, who is believed to be the only witness.
UPDATE (Tuesday 30 July): Post mortem results show that Mr Jackson died from multiple stab wounds and blunt force head trauma.
