We devour the new a la carte menu – very happily indeed
The Lowry Hotel's Head Chef, Andrew Green, Gordo and Jonathan Schofield hosted a Heroes event for our loyal readers to show off the new menu at the restaurant. What a menu!
The evening started with drinks in the library before three courses of unbridled gluttony and pleasure in the dining room.
We all tucked in to crab macaroni, beef wellington and steamed treacle pudding. The beef wellington in particular made Gordo a very happy boy indeed – it’s the stuff his dreams are made of.
