FINNAIR are introducing a direct route to Chongqing, the largest and fastest-growing city in China with swift connections to Manchester.

The Finnish national airline will fly from their Helsinki hub to Chongqing four times a week with their Airbus A340 aircraft, taking eight and a half hours.

Flights operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from May 9. So you can depart from Manchester Airport at 10:25, arriving at Helsinki at 15:15, departing at 17:30 and arriving at Chongqing at 07:10 (the following day)

Return flights leave Chongqing at 09:40, arriving at Helsinki at 14:05. The connecting flight to Manchester leaves at 16:00, arriving at 16:55.

Chongqing, a dynamic industrial centre with a population of over 30 million has lots to offer leisure travellers, too.
