IT MAY be winning savoury fans over with a brand new sharing menu - featuring the likes of succulent chicken wings and handy burger trios - but Dive isn’t one to neglect the puds. Sweet-toothed Divers are well catered for too, with an indulgent choice of desserts that’s perfect for enjoying with friends and family.

The pancake stack is exactly how it should be: thick, fluffy and reminiscent of a proper US breakfast

Fancy a tipple as you indulge your sugar cravings? Dessert cocktails are Dive’s ingenious solution. Key Lime Pie, for example, is based on the tangy Florida favourite. A mix of Absolut vodka, vanilla gomme, fresh lime, egg white and lime zest, it comes in a glass rimmed with cookie crumbs.

Blazing Saddles, meanwhile, does what it says on the tin; arriving hot, with a delicious whiff of spices akin to mulled wine. You could get drunk off the smell alone. A blend of Remy Martin, Cointreau, Crème de cacao Dark, vanilla and spice - with dried orange and a hint of dark chocolate for good measure - the Western comedy namesake happily tastes as good as it smells.

Last of the tempting trio is Breakfast Stout Flip. A colonial concoction mixing Monkey Shoulder, ginger syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, egg white and Founders Breakfast Stout, it looks like an Espresso Martini doppelganger and is no less pleasant. Trust us, we tried...

All are served until 11pm so there’s plenty of time to get them in, whether for a weekend get-together or unwinding after work.

It’s not only drinks on offer, however, with three classic desserts to tuck into - and share (or hog) as desired. American waffles come warm and crisp, with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of maple syrup, while the pancake stack is exactly how it should be: thick, fluffy and reminiscent of a proper US breakfast. We even discerned the vanilla element that’s all too forgotten.

Want s’more? Enter the S’more Sundae: roasted marshmallows, vanilla ice cream, fudge sauce, broken biscuits...and did we mention the little unmentioned surprises, like chocolate drops and a Pirouline wafer? Like its compatriots, it’s a steal at £4. Although, as the name suggests, it’s also dangerously moreish.

In fact, so is the whole menu - but you only live once right? Dive in...
