This Saturday's Peek A Groove party has a pretty special headliner
IT'S nights like this that make Dulcimer a lot more than just another Chorlton bar. This Saturday, the Peek A Groove collective are hosting an appearance from cult producer, singer and DJ, E Da Boss – aka 'E', aka Eric Cooke.
From his early days in New Jersey as a DJ and collector, to touring with Sacramento hip hop outfit Blackalicious, E has worked on many projects with many artists. Check out Broadway - his LP with Myron and The Soul Investigators on LA label Stones Throw Records for a taste of his sound.
More recently, you can catch his solo work on Mocambo Records, plus new music from his duo project The Pendletons (a track from which was featured on Gilles Peterson's latest Brownswood Bubblers compilation).
Rounding off the line-up are guests Jamie Groovement, Swindells and Joseph Ellis. Plus Peek A Groove residents Andy Shake'N'Fingerpop and Adam Maxwell.
