There aren’t many brands who can offer over 200 years of experience, but Chivas is one of them. Founded by James and John Chivas, who pioneered the art of blending in 19th-century Scotland, the company has been blending the best malt and grain whiskies to create something extraordinary since 1801. So it’s the original luxury blended Scotch whisky.
Little wonder, then, that Chivas’ The Blend has proved so popular the past two years since it started as a pop-up in London’s Truman Brewery in 2016, offering a unique chance to gain insight as a Master whisky Blender and blend with the best. The Blend is still going strong there, and now it’s coming to the North West too.
The Blend will take up residence in some of the best bars in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool; offering signature hour-long whisky-blending sessions for £15.
After a complimentary Chivas and soda (always a good start), guests will be able to delve into the world of blended whisky – followed by a fun, hands-on art of blending experience to create their own 200ml blend to take home.
