Manchester's most raucous bar showdown returns to OGS on Friday 12 May
IT'S one of the biggest nights on the bar scene – and it's about to celebrate its fifth year. Cocktails in the City returns on Friday 12 May for an evening of cocktails, food and fine times.
This year it will once again be held in the iconic Studio 1 of Old Granada Studios, bringing together 25 of Manchester's best-loved bars.
The line-up so far includes: The Alchemist, Almost Famous, Arcane, Be At One Manchester, Cottonopolis, The Fitzgerald, Hawksmoor, Hula, The Laundrette, The Liquor Store, Lost in Tokyo, Manchester House, Red Door Manchester, Revolucian de Cuba, Roc & Rye, Rosso, Rosylee, Roxy Ball Room, Science and Industry, Tattu, Tusk, and The Wash House.
Each one will be bringing their own brand of cocktail magic to the show, with bespoke drinks and tasting sessions. Book in for cocktail and canapé pairings, tasting sessions in the dark, and spirit blending sessions. And try your hand at mixology in their 'be the bartender' sessions.

Cocktails in the City is a home-grown success story. It held its first event in 2012 in Manchester, and has since expanded to seven more UK cities, becoming the nation's leading cocktail event.
Whether you're a fully-confirmed cocktail geek who understands the finer points of fat-washing and ice-carving, or just someone who appreciates a damn good drink, it promises a fantastic night out. It's like the best bar crawl ever, and it only happens once a year.
Tickets are just £12 including two cocktails and – new for this year – a Cocktails in the City membership card which gives you access to tastings, launches, parties and experiences throughout the year.
