To celebrate the official charity day, in aid of Save the Children, the Bierkeller complex is inviting customers to show off their favourite Christmassy designs – whether it’s Santa, Rudolph, penguins, snowman or just a few subtle snowflakes.
The tall and deliciously creamy Mince Pie Cocktail would be a treat for Santa
Of course it doesn’t just have to be on Friday, Bierkeller is keen to see novelty knits right through to the big day itself so don’t put them back in the drawer once the fundraiser’s over, let them loose to cheer up lots more Christmas nights out too.
To encourage everyone to get fashionably merry and bright, expert bartenders have created some fabulous cocktails to sample while you wear them.
Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without a mince pie or two, and Bierkeller’s version is more irresistible than most … because it’s got Absolut vodka in it!
The tall and deliciously creamy Mince Pie Cocktail would be a treat for Santa with its chocolate shavings and pastry crumb topping and he’d have no shortage of helpers to finish it off.
Or how about taking an Absolut Sleigh Ride - a fruity combination of Absolut Citron, triple sec, cranberry and lime - or maybe getting tinselly tropical thanks to a Christmas Colada made with Malibu, orange, pineapple and cherry sour?
Isaac Mayne, head of marketing and promotions for Bierkeller, says the bar is looking forward to creating a special atmosphere for its customers and he hopes Friday is just the start of a season full of Christmas jumpers.
“Our decorations are up and we’ve added the three new Christmassy cocktails to our regular drinks menu of beers, wines, spirits and steins, to make the celebrations even better.
“We’d love to see our customers getting dressed up for the occasion in their best Christmas jumpers. Whether it’s Rudolphs, Santas, snowmen or penguins … they’re all very welcome come and join in the festive fun.”
