Head down and celebrate the festive season with seasonal food and drink, workshops and more
Christmas has arrived in style at Circle Square this year, with the neighbourhood being transformed into a vibrant winter wonderland. Visitors can marvel at dazzling decorations, enjoy festive flavours and get stuck in with seasonal events and activities so magical they’d even put a smile on the face of Mr Scrooge himself.
Christmas-themed food and drink specials will be available across the destination, with North Bar’s street-food partner Koto serving East Asian dishes with a holiday twist, including a Festive Banh Mi, Salt & Pepper Roasties and Cran Bang Cauli. Taphouse is celebrating with its giant 24” Festive Feast Pizza, topped with classic seasonal flavours like cranberry and pigs in blankets - available whole or by the slice. Half Dozen Other has created a Mince Pie Danish filled with aged mincemeat, vanilla chantilly and orange, alongside more festive treats coming soon. With more than 17 venues such as Onda, Meatworks, Detroit Slims, Monkey Trio and Federal joining in, Circle Square has become a hub for festive feasting this holiday season.

- KPop Christmas Market - 29 November, Hello Oriental
It’s a KPop Christmas at Hello Oriental as they host their first ever KPop Christmas market. Expect an unforgettable day filled with amazing vendors, dance-alongs, music videos, bracelet making, PC decorating, and most importantly fan-made merch in tribute to all things K-Pop. Vendors include Studio Kha, Chu Chu Cherry, Peach Seven Pins and KPop Creations.

- Festive Floral Centrepiece Workshop and Drinks – 3 December, North Bar
Hosted by Manchester’s floral extraordinaires Verdure, this guided workshop invites guests to create their own stunning seasonal centrepiece — a beautiful bouquet perfect for any Christmas table. The evening includes a warming glass of mulled cider or fizz from North Bar, with all materials provided and all guests will leave with a centrepiece that will last them till the big day.

- Festive Paint and Sip at Hello Oriental - 10 December, Hello Oriental
Warm up and get creative with a special festive workshop in the heart of Circle Square. Cosy up with a delicious festive cocktail from Hello Oriental and transform clear glass baubles into sparkling winter scenes with an East Asian twist to add a bespoke touch of handmade beauty to your tree. Attendees will be guided step-by-step to paint snowy scenes, frosty trees, and shimmering moonlit skies alongside East Asian Cherry Blossom and Mount Fuji landscapes. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and everything will be provided!

- Christmas Chocolate Making & Festive Cocktails at North Bar - 17 December
Learn to create your own Christmas chocolates from scratch with this festive chocolate masterclass from local chocolatier Andy Cameron - all whilst enjoying North Bar’s festive drinks specials. Enjoy a chocolate tasting, live table top ganache demo and create your own traditional christmas chocolates and flavour options, all in the cosy surroundings of North Bar at Circle Square. Guests will go away with their own packaged Christmas chocolates.
