Castlefield Food Festival is back in the Castlefield Bowl from Thursday 12 May to Sunday 15 May.

Robert Owen Brown
Robert Owen Brown is the festival's head chef. You can catch all sorts of cooking demonstrations from the acclaimed Manchester chef, including free masterclasses for kids. As well as hosting two days of free demos, he'll also be turning the tables on some of the region's best food writers with the return of his Critics Challenge.
David Mooney
David Mooney is one of the original celebrity chefs, with over 200 appearances under his apron belt as the resident chef on Granada Tonight. He's worked for luminaries such as Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White but with his outspoken twitter persona @GobbyChef he's definitely his own man. Ginger's Ice Cream
Award-winning ice cream crusader, founder of Ginger's Comfort Emporium and author of Melt, Claire Kelsey will be showing you how to create her unusual and wildly indulgent ice cream flavours. Even better, there's booze involved. On Thursday 12 May at 6.30pm, Claire Kelsey's demo will take the dusty drinks from the back of your spirit cabinet and transform them into ice cream magic. On Saturday 14 May at 11am, there will also be a kids masterclass.
Helen and Lisa Tse
The twins from Manchester's Sweet Mandarin who won Gordon Ramsay's The F Word 's Best Local Chinese Restaurant and who were successful entrepreneur hopefuls on Dragon's Den will be showing off their cooking skills at the festival. Make sure you pick up some tips.
Bobby's Bangers
Sausages always go down well with the little ones and they will love learning how to make bangers just like Bobby's in this hands on children's demo.
