ON TUESDAY 16 February from 6pm, Iberica is holding a pairing dinner which will give diners the opportunity to enjoy a special collection of artisan beers from the Spanish brewery Casimiro Mahou alongside tapas dishes designed by Michelin star executive chef Nacho Manzano to complement the flavours of the beer.

In a country almost exclusively dedicated to wine, the brothers had an ambition to bring quality beer to the people of Spain

Casimiro Mahou originates from 1890 when it was known as Sons of Casimiro. In a country almost exclusively dedicated to wine, the brothers had an ambition to bring quality beer to the people of Spain.

Each artisan beer is delicately crafted with its own optimum temperature and even the perfect glass shape to enhance its flavour.

The Casimiro Marcenado, a refreshing wheat beer, is paired with a new dish of scallop with seaweed purée, hollandaise sauce and celery.

Casamiro Maravillas is a strong lager which is accompanied by a specially-designed taco of quail with marinated apple.

Finally, Casamiro Jacometrezo is an ale which partners a dish of morteruelo with wild mushrooms, vinaigrette and pine nuts.

Tickets cost £35 per person.
