A boerewors roll – a hot dog to you and me – is just £2 at Chakalaka every Tuesday. That’s from 5pm, right until 10pm because you never know when that sausage craving is going to hit.
A boerewors isn’t just any sausage. It’s a special South African sausage full of flavour and made for Chakalaka by their local South African butcher. Get his number because these bangers are beauties.
They’re also pretty nifty with a beer, and Chakalaka has a great selection including their own Chakalager on draught. Bottles include South African favourites like Windhoek and Castle as well as ciders like Savanna.
