AFTERNOON TEA EVENT: 47 King Street West Tea Rooms will host a charity afternoon tea event for ladies who lunch on Thursday 31 May from 3pm. For £30 per ticket, you’ll get to enjoy afternoon tea alongside displays by French Affaires - an exclusive collection of stylish and exquisite lingerie from around the world (see above image), jewellery from Benna and cosmetics by Estee Lauder. PICCFIT FREE FITNESS SESSIONS are in full swing in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester. The six weeks of free fitness classes will running until 15 June and anyone can turn-up and take part at lunchtime, after work and at the weekend.
Classes are hosted by expert trainers in a range of popular activities including Kettlebells, circuit and yoga. There is also regular legs, bums and tums, Park Fit, Sweat Shed and Boot Camp sessions. Amie Kime from street dance group Nitrox, who have the same choreographer as Kylie Minogue, will be taking the Zumba classes. Primal Fitness, who has Fernando Ajmad, a former member of the Venezuelan national swimming team, as one of their instructors will be holding four sessions a week which includes workouts with JCB tyres.
In addition to the regular timetable, Robin Graham will be holding three laughter workouts on 18 June (1.30pm – 3pm) 19 June (12pm – 1pm) and 20 June (1.30pm – 3pm). Laughter yoga is based on the concept of laughing for no reason other than it is good for you.
