NEW YORK-style hangout Black Dog Ballroom on New Wakefield Street, is set to open a pin-code protected, private members Ballroom on Wednesday 26 September.
Hidden gems within the ballroom include a karaoke booth and a pool table. Together they make the finishing touches to the new Black Dog, which opened in May. The karaoke booth holds a maximum of fifteen people and will be available to hire by the hour, allowing your party to belt out their favourite classics after sampling cocktails from the private bar.
The new ballroom, just like its Northern Quarter counterpart, will be open to members on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm to 4am. Accessible from the street outside through a pin-code protected door, the room will be a haven for regulars who want to escape the venue’s busy main bars during hectic weekends.
The room will also be available for hire to members and non-members alike for events or parties.
In addition to the private ballroom, Black Dog NWS already boasts a diner, pool room, roof terrace, permanent BBQ and a basement nightclub, providing the perfect concoction of bar-meets-club.
The basement nightclub, Underdog, brings the hottest DJs to Manchester, including most recently the Scratch Perverts.
