THE BRIT Awards – and its legendary after party – is one hot ticket. If you’re not an international celebrity or you’re not up for album of the year (maybe next year, eh?) chances are you’re not invited. At Black Dog NWS, you’re all invited and everybody will live like rock and roll stars for the night.
Wednesday 24 February sees a special screening of the event followed by a fancy dress disco until the early hours at Black Dog’s New Wakefield Street venue.

Owner of the Black Dog Ballroom group, Ross Mackenzie, explained: “Everyone wants to be at The BRIT Awards and this year we’re going to try our hardest to make people feel like they are. What better way to watch the awards than with a cocktail in hand, surrounded by friends?”
The bar will be starting the night off with a pre-awards quiz at 6pm followed by a live screening of the awards. A special Brits disco will keep the glitzy after party vibe going until the early hours.
There’ll be awards for the best fancy dress outfits – everyone is encouraged to dress up as their musical heroes and share photos of their outfits on social media with the hashtag #BlackDogBRITS2016.

Entry is free but the event is expected to fill up fast.
