Alston Bar & Beef, the home of one of Manchester’s biggest gin selections, has introduced ‘The Gin Experience’, a tasting session that’s ideal for novices and gin lovers alike.
The bar, based in Manchester’s Corn Exchange, has launched a new hands-on gin tasting experience where specialist bartenders will provide insights into the history of gin and explain how Alston crafts its very own intensely-flavoured gins.

For just £19.95 per person, you’ll be treated to a variety of gin-based drinks and have the opportunity to make your own behind the bar. After the 90-minute experience, you’ll be an expert in the art of gin and a gin convert too if you’re not already.
Alston’s underground speakeasy bar has over 60 gins on offer including fourteen of its own cold compound gin infusions which are produced onsite. Staff offer expertise in choosing the perfect gin and tonic combination as well as creating delicious cocktails such as the now famous Cathedral Honey Bees Knees.
To complete the evening, enjoy a two-course meal in Alston Bar & Beef’s restaurant either before or after your gin experience for an extra £20 per person.
