#TWITFACED is back on Friday 26 April – this time at plush city-centre venue Sub Zero at Avalanche Restaurant.
There'll be musical delights from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn, who has DJ’d at almost all of Manchester’s best known clubs (apart from 42nd Street)
Described as a 'very informal networking event', it's a chance to let your hair down with like-minded Manchester folk who enjoy chatting face-to-face as well as on Twitter. There's drinks giveaways and offers, music, and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited.
Tickets are free but limited in number. Register here.
And the TwitFaced team have put together a very simple but effective offer: a 10 per cent discount on all bar prices throughout the evening for TwitFaced punters.
There'll be musical delights from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn, who has DJ’d at almost all of Manchester’s best known clubs (apart from 42nd Street).
Resident over the years at Prague Five, Holy City Zoo, Rossetti, Panacea and Sub Space, Martin plays an eclectic mix of dance floor favourites, old and new. As part of the Across the Tracks collective, Martin’s festival appearances last year included Latitude, Deer Shed, Leeds and Bestival.
Rumour has it that Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg, fresh from celebrating 20 years DJ’ing to some of the world’s finest dance floors, may also hit the decks to spin his usual upbeat dance grooves late into the night. Mark is a firm TwitFaced favourite and knows how to get a party going.
With each different venue comes a new ‘feel’ to the night and this is no exception. TwitFaced is putting its glad rags on and will be providing some casino delights for you to enjoy, with the chance to win free cocktails and even a bottle of bubbly. Guests will be provided with some funny money so nobody loses out. Arrive early as casino table slots will be limited given the huge crowd they are expecting.
Finally the TwitFaced judges will be keeping an eye on potential contenders for the usual awards like ‘Best Dressed’ and the 'TwitFaced Hall of Fame'.
The organisers would like to say a big thank you to the official sponsors, Manchester Confidential, Talk of Manchester, Studio North and UpSearch who make the night possible.
#TwitFaced starts from 6pm on Friday 26 April at Sub Zero, Avalanche, 2 Booth Street, Manchester city centre.
