Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse and Brewery has the month planned out
EVENTS are really taking off in the Seven Bro7hers stable, with our April diary fast filling up with great nights out at both the Brewery’s Tap7 venue in Salford Quays and the Beerhouse in Ancoats. Some of the popular regulars have already sold out, but this is how the rest of this month’s programme is looking…
Make a beeline to the Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse, overlooking Cutting Room Square from its Blossom Street site, and you’re bound to find something to whet your cultural whistle. Every week, there’s Live Music Thursdays, with first-time performer at the Beerhouse Nathan Lewis Thomas rocking up on 11 April. If you’re a fan of John Mayer, Tom Misch and Ed Sheeran, this should be your bag.
Ancoats Book Club takes place every third Wednesday and the tome for 17 April is Trevor Noah’s Born A Crime, while the following Wednesday see the popular hands-on experience of PopUp Painting take inspiration from Banksy – grab a pint and let’s Paint Street Art!

Over at the Brewery, free fun can be had at the Sunday Sessions, every second Sunday of the month, the Open Mic Night, every third Thursday of the month, and also at Brewback Friday – the most popular event in Tap7’s growing calendar. Just in time for payday, Brewback Friday rounds off the month with the best night out of beers, food and music – for April, it’s healthy vegan and veggie Mexican from Buenas Nachos and upbeat vibes from Unknown Era, back in the Brewery after an amazing show in November.
Sunday Sessions see a laid-back kid-and-dog-friendly afternoon running from 1pm to 6pm, with tasty tunes courtesy DJ Chrissy G playing Northern Soul and funk and even tastier grub from Wild About Food, with alternative meats such as ostrich and wild boar. Another favourite gone monthly is the Open Mic Night, which has fast gained a regular following – with a free pint for everyone who performs! Hosted by John Hancock from the nearby Old Pint Pot, expect plenty of acoustic music, with both original pieces and covers.
