Offers and events to make it your dining destination from Monday through to Sunday
A Gaucho is a national symbol in Argentina – the brave cowboy who roams the pampas – and Gaucho is certainly a symbol of superb beef.
The restaurant, just down the side of House of Fraser in a stunning converted church, is a temple to steak in all its forms and in all its glory. Argentinian beef is oft-reputed to be the best in the world and the meat at Gaucho comes from premium Black Angus cattle bred at personally-chosen farms.
From a lean, intensely flavoured cuadril or rump to the Argentine speciality, tira de ancho a spiral cut, slow-grilled with chimichurri, Gaucho is the place to enjoy a real meat feast. Speaking of feasts…the Chateaubriand is an experience that everyone must try. What could be more romantic than sitting across a table enjoying some of the most delicately-flavoured tender fillet
Of course, vegetarian and vegan options are available too like the wild mushroom tagliatelle and the beetroot risotto.
However, you might not realise that Gaucho has more to tempt you than just the meat, exquisite though that is. Take a look at the offers and events, there to brighten up the beginning of your week and make the weekend something to really celebrate.
Every Monday at Gaucho is BYOB. Diners can bring any bottle of wine or champagne to enjoy with their meal and there’s no corkage charge. So if there’s a bottle of Argentinian Malbec in your wine cellar (garage/wine rack/cupboard also acceptable) that’s calling out to be paired with the full-bodied flavour of a marbled rib-eye steak, Monday nights at Gaucho are for you.
Saturdays at Gaucho are also something special. Saturday nights are always an important part of everyone’s social diary but Electro Brunch at Gaucho is making a big impact. This isn’t just doing brunch, this is a brunch feast. Every Saturday from 11am-4pm work your way through a menu that includes the choripan sandwich - a snack adored all over South America, burrata with heirloom tomatoes and, of course, steak and eggs,
Now imagine a brunch this good with Porn Star Martinis, Rekorderlig cider, Aperol Spritz and a soundtrack of cool beats, bassy rhythms and melodic tunes. No wonder Saturday brunch is becoming the new Saturday night.
Sunday may mark the end of the week but there’s no need to be down because it also marks Gaucho’s Bottomless Beef and Bottle events. From midday until close, you choose from a weekly-changing menu of superb steak cuts, a selection of the restaurant’s favourite free-flowing red, white and rosé wines as well as unlimited chips and chimichurri sauce for 90 minutes. Don’t live a little, make the most of every minute of your weekend. Sundays should be spent enjoying Bottomless Beef and Bottle at Gaucho.
In fact, there’s plenty to enjoy at Gaucho every day of the week.
