The Pretty Things created some of the most exciting and innovative records of the late Sixties and early Seventies, producing a run of rhythm and blues and freakbeat hits. Later they made seminal albums including psychedelic classic SF Sorrow and the Rolling Stone Album of the Year, Parachute.
Last year the band were awarded the Hero Award at the Mojo Honours, and they count The Clash, Aerosmith and Kasabian amongst their fans. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd has this to say about them: “The Pretty Things always made The Stones look tame, and the time has come for their renaissance.”
The Pretty Things will be supported by psychedelic rock and roll band The Watchmakers. It's going to be a big one – get your tickets now at the Band on the Wall website.
