MARKETS, street-side dining, picnics, special dinners...Dig The City is an 'urban gardening festival' that's as much about eating food as it is about growing it.

One of the gastronomic highlights of the festival is the Guest Chef Dinner at Harvey Nichols Second Floor Restaurant in association with tableware specialists, Dudson. Mary-Ellen McTague, head chef at Aumbry, and Lisa Allen, finalist from The Great British Menu, will prepare a four-course dinner using foraged foods and local specialities you can grow and cook at home.

The dinner will be served overlooking the festival's show gardens on New Cathedral Street. After an arrival drink, you'll choose your dishes from the home-grown menu.

It's a one-off event taking place on Monday 5 August at 7.30pm
