For anyone not familiar with Black Dog Ballroom NWS, it's a bar and a half, just a minute's amble from Oxford Road Station. There's a basement club (Underdog), a covered roof terrace, a diner and a pool room. It's a buzzy place popular for breakfasts, brunch, after-work meet-ups and weekend revelry.
The food and décor is done in a laid-back, NYC style. The menu features quality casual eats devised by Anthony Fielden of The Northern Quarter Restaurant: flame-grilled burgers, home-made gourmet pizzas and the like.
The drinks include cocktails concocted by their award-winning mixologist Martin Taylor, plus an impressive range of beers and wines for picky palates.
